Illumination Entertainment is one of leading producers of animated films; the studio has accumulated a prodigious library of blockbuster titles in a single decade. Due to advancements in 3D animation, their franchises have undergone radical aesthetic changes over the years, leading to a lack of cohesion across packaging and digital storefronts.

Our approach to this challenge resulted in the development of a unifying branding solution spanning multiple media formats. A vivid color palette, inspired by each film, was used to integrate their diverse character designs into a comprehensive collection. The design harmoniously combines Illumination’s iconic minimalism with a dash of mischief and storytelling.
